GCCA PARKS CLEANUP SERVICE PROJECT.

Members of the troop assisted the Greater Colesville Civic Association with the Fall cleanup and re-mulching of the 5 mini-parks in the neighborhood.  Three scouts, (Jack4, Jackson and Ezana) did a great job being while short handed, 10 volunteered but only 3 showed up.  The folks from GCCA were very appreciative.

BRIDGE MOVE.

I enlisted the aid of Mr Dale Taweel and Mr Ben Allen and we moved the bridge from the courtyard to the lower parking lot.  The bridge was easy to handle once we attached wheels to it.  Gentlemen, Thank You!

MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE - YOUTH MINISTRY - SJB

There will be a Middle School Halloween Dance in the SJB gym on Friday October 24 from 7:30 until 10 PM.  All 7th and 8th grade students are invited.

POPCORN SALES

There are two weeks of popcorn sales left

We need you to

SELL popcorn on your order forms

Show up at the Colesville Giant, Cloverly Safeway and SJB Mass sales listed in Mr Fanelli's e-mail

Popcorn order forms  - We will take order forms anytime and all popcorn order forms MUST be turned in by the November 6th troop meeting.

NOVEMBER CAMPOUT - 11/8/14 - 11/9/14

We will be camping at Camp Cone at Gunpowder Falls State Park. The date has been changed from Nov 15-16 to NOV 8-9 due to space available for the campout.

SERVICE PROJECTS

Two projects have been offered for consideration

Silver Spring YMCA - Assist with building garden Plots and Cleaning up of the compost area on either 11/8 or 11/15.

ECO ministry SJB - assist with the clean-up of New Hampshire Ave on either 11/15 or 11/22.

The TLC will discuss and recommend.
