The Troop will hold its quarterly Court of Honor at this Thursday's meeting to recognize the accomplishments of our Scouts since the beginning of October.  Parents, siblings and friends are encouraged to come to show their support for the scouts.

We will be conducting the annual Friends of Scouting drive at the meeting to help support the Scouting program.  Please bring your checkbooks and be generous.

The Klondike Derby will be held on the weekend of January 18-19-20  at Little Bennett Regional Park in Upper Montgomery County.  Our scouts will be competing against the other troops in the county in contests of scouting skills.  Permission Slip Attached.

Menu planning for the Klondike will take place after the Court of Honor.

We will also be checking out the dogsleds for the Klondike.

Volunteers are still needed to represent the troop at ST John's Community Sundays to answer any scouting questions and show the colors.

The 33rd annual Father/Son Camp-in will take place at BroadCreek Scout Reservation near Prospect Maryland on Feb 1-2-3.  That weekend is also Scout Sunday so scouts not going on the Camp-in should make plans to attend one of the services either that Saturday or Sunday in uniform to represent the troop.  Scouts attending the Camp-in will be able to make the evening service on Sunday.

Ski Trip 3/1-2-3/13

The ski trip is a go,

the weather? I don't know.

Maybe it will snow,

so, plan to go!

Scouts will need permission slips for the event and current medical forms.  Siblings can go under the care of their parents.

Non-scout friends cannot go.  More at the COH.
