TO ALL 7th and 8th grade Scouts

St John's is sponsoring a Valentines Dance this Friday evening

        7:30 PM until 10 PM

The dance is open to all current 7th/8th grade students at any area public, private, or parochial school. The students do not need to be SJB parishioners, or Catholic. All are welcome. Cost is $10, and we would be delighted to see any of your teens/their friends.

Come on out and have some fun.

Rescheduling of Broad Creek Father/Son Camp-in

We have re-scheduled the Camp-in for the weekend of March 21,22 and 23.

The cabins have changed, we are now in Conowingo and Frontier which are the next two down the line from Dan Beard.

Summer Camp Signups

Time to put Summer Camp on your schedules,

We will be going to Camp Olmsted, Goshen Scout Reservation, Goshen Virginia.

We will attend the week of Sunday 7/6 Though Saturday 7/12.

The Early Bird Sign up fee is $290 plus $45 Bus fare, total $335. 

Adults are $230 plus $45 Bus Fee, total $275. 

The fees go up after April 25. 

Early Bird payees will receive a Goshen Ball cap.

Merit Badge Counselors

The troop is recruiting Merit Badge Counselors.  See the attached list for those badges currently not covered.  Please see me if you have any questions or would like to sign up.

Medical Forms

BSA requires that each scout have a current medical form on file with the troop.  They used to be valid for three years, but now they are required yearly.  Normally each scout gets a physical in connection with attending Summer Camp, (can't go without it).  You may download the form from the BSA website.  These forms are kept by the Scoutmaster and are also required for camping events.

Sections A, B, and C are required.
