The Holidays are upon us and schedules are getting tight.  Take a breath and think about the Season, the hope of bringing Peace on Earth.  We could sure use some now. The simplest rules are the hardest to follow, "Treat others as you would like to be treated".

Troop meetings

 TUESDAY 12/9,  7 to 9 PM, SJB

 TUESDAY  12/16, 7 to 9 PM, SJB Troop Christmas and Holiday Party

KLONDIKE DERBY  Jan 16-17-18 2015

To be held at Little Bennett Regional Park, details to follow...

Summer Camp, Olmsted, Goshen Scout Reservation   July 12 thru 18th 2015

The troop is registered for Week 4, July 12th to 18th.  We will decide shortly whether we will do the Lenhok'sin trail the week before or after Camp Olmsted.

MARYLAND BASKETBALL OVERNIGHTER 1/2-3/15

The U of Md is sponsoring an overnight camp-in in the Xfinity Center Pavilion  starting Friday evening 1/2 and participation in Sports merit badge activities Saturday AM and attendance at the game between MD and Minnesota.  the cost is $31 per person.

If you are interested in attending Please let me know ASAP.  

Notes from the SJB Youth Ministry

Advent Mini-Retreat

Sunday, December 7   6-8pm

This Sunday, we'll take some time to regroup (just like on a retreat) and talk about how to really get into the Advent season. Afterwards, we'll be writing Christmas cards that will be sent to our troops overseas. Bring some friends!

Ornament Painting

Sunday, December 14   6-8pm

This was a favorite activity last year, so we'll once again paint ornaments and watch a classic Christmas movie. Please bring $5 to cover the cost of the materials.
