Reminder - Our troop meeting this week will be on Friday the 6th from 7 to 9 pm in the Lyon Center.  We will go back to the regular schedule next week.

5 Mile Hike  9/7/2013

The troop will be conducting a five mile hike on Saturday 9/7 on the Paint Branch trail,  this activity will satisfy requirement 1b for the Second Class Badge.  Proper attire, "Class A's", good walking shoes, water/bottles and snacks are required.   The troop will provide maps and compasses.

Boonsboro Campout  9/21 - 22/2013

We will have a "Back to Scouting and Recruiting"  Campout at our favorite site at Camp Boonsboro.  We have invited the Webelos from Pack 499 to join us for a fun time learning scout skills and playing games.  Permission Slip is attached.  We will meet at SJB at 8:30 Saturday morning and depart for the camp by 9 AM.   Drivers are needed to drive one or both ways.  Menu planning will take place at this Friday's meeting.

Eagle Project

Ben completed work on his project, upgrading the parking lot at Hughes United Methodist Church in Wheaton on August 24th.

We have 4 other Eagle Projects in the planning stages as of today.

Court of Honor

We will hold our Summer Court of honor at out troop meeting of October 10th.  If you need a Board of Review you have until 10/3 to complete it. 

Webelos Weekend  10/11-13/2013

We will be teaching Webelos One fire building and conducting the fire building contest again this year.  The event will be held at the Cedar Ridge Community Church on  Route 198, just west of Burtonsville.
