Wishing you all a happy and peaceful Holiday season. In these times we all need to think of each other and the message of the season, "Peace on Earth and good will to Man".  This week we will celebrate Christmas and other Holiday traditions at our annual Troop Holiday party.  Scouts and Leaders will decorate our  little "Charlie Brown" Troop tree with ornaments special to them While telling a story about the ornament.  Please bring a snack to share with the troop.

Sycamore Island Campout  Dec 12 & 13th

Sycamore Island is a small private island in the Potomac River operated by a canoe club since 1885.  It is accessed by a small hand operated ferry raft.  The troop assisted the club in cleaning up their parking lot and trail to the ferry and was allowed to camp on the site. The weather was beautiful and the campout a success.  We did have one mix up though, we had to truck all of our gear to the site on the C & O canal for about 6 tenths of a mile so we used garden carts for the effort.  Mr Keegan had to leave early Sunday and would return for his gear.  When we left we took all of the carts and left Mr K to carry out his gear.  Our Apologies.

KLONDIKE DERBY JANUARY 15, 16, 17 LITTLE BENNETT REGIONAL PARK
